The Pen in the High Castle is my vote. Excellent review; I haven’t heard of the pen before.

Thanks, and yeah, I don't think they have much distribution here yet—none of the usual suspects carry them as far as I can tell. I found it by looking up the closest stationery store to my hotel in London, then going to their website and seeing if there were any brands I hadn't heard of. Also finding the Rotring Core when I went there in person was a bonus.

oooooh lord i'd really love to be a fly inside that church and watch you doing the "pen-not-vape" explanation DURING the sunday morning service to an older semi-deaf fellow parishioner... As for name, how about "The Nautilus"? Cheers! Vic from Portugal.

If NASA made the spring loaded cylinder that holds a roll of toilet paper in the dispenser, it would be this pen in capped position.

The Namisu N2 is another UK-made pen of a similar size to the Tom's Studio Ballerina. They go for around the same price, too, but the Steel/Aluminium version of the N2 can be had for as little as £30 at times. The main difference between them is pretty much whether you need a clip or not.
