The gifs did it for me. But in all seriousness, I have the white one, I call it the great white shark, and it’s inked with Red Dragon because it looks more like blood than Oxblood, and if you think I didn’t paint the eyes red with that ink you’re wrong.

I feel like one of us should write a post ranking the blood-colored inks. I think the Gentleman Stationer featured some vampire-themed ink a while back that looked pretty cool but can't remember the name.

I agree. It will be Red Dragon, that’s the end of the list. Maroons > reds.

The ink you want is Pennonia Draculea. Red, with black particles. A demonstrator pen is essential to show it off to its best effect.

I'm not saying I've signed a blood contract with a B nib and that ink, but, *if* you had the chance to do so, could you resist it? I think not. Unfortunately, the ink was a limited edition...

...but the Gentleman Stationer suggested Dominant Industry's Romania Red (https://www.gentlemanstationer.com/blog/2023/5/27/the-gentleman-stationers-favorite-inks-inaugural-edition-2023) and that one does look very... tasty.

One of your best posts so far (in my limited exposure). Nothing like a good laugh in the morning, despite not falling to the open-another-tab-and-order-one psychic hint.

Ha! We'll get ya next time.
