i have to say i highly enjoy your posts and this one really made me giggle :) keep it up!! have you thought of joining the pen addict slack group? i think you’d fit right in 😉
I didn’t get the hype until I got the pen. Then I didn’t get the hype because I hated the nib. Then I got the nib ground. Then… I got the hype. Nice review
Thanks! It's the grip for me. That said, it's about time for my fourth annual Try To Use The Lamy 2000 event, which I'll catalog for an upcoming post—I had mine ground too and since the nib doesn't work on any other pen I go through this annual ritual of trying to get it to work for me.
Yeah I thought it was a brilliant idea to go with an OM despite the fact I a) prefer F nibs, b) do not rotate my pens when I write, and c) had never used an oblique before. What could go wrong right
You are welcome, I am still on the waitlist for a new hand myself. "Need to use specific pen" is apparently not very compelling in terms of moving up the list.

Thanks! Sure, how can I get an invite?
send an email to hello@penaddict.com and ask for an invite to Slack (you can say you were referred by Jessica (@bezhouse on instagram)

Haha I came so close to doing that too. I definitely have the "well if they offer it in a weird grind I might as well get that" problem.
“Oh, a Zoom nib? I don’t have that”
:proceeds to buy a Sailor with Zoom nib without ever having tried one and while still preferring fine nibs:
This is the only Lamy 2000 review that I will direct people to from now on.
Also, thanks for reminding me I need not only a new hand, but someone to gift me a Lamy 2000. Important stuff.
