Brought a Pelikan 205 to jury duty, put it in the Esterbrook sleeve you see in the post and threw it in my briefcase. A curious security officer was going through my briefcase, said "what's this" and picked up the sleeve by the bottom; the pen fell out, nib-down, and got lodged vertically between two rollers. "It's a pen," I said.
Pen survived unscathed, but lesson learned that once you use a big pen in one of those sleeves they become big-pen-only cases.
